Shinagawa Aquarium
品川区, 東京都
Address: 3-2-1 Katsushima, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Located inside Shinagawa Kumin Park, Shinagawa Aquarium is a compact urban aquarium built around the theme of contact with water and nearby aquatic life. It combines classic aquarium staples such as an underwater tunnel, the Sea Jewel Box display, and Shark Hall with dolphin, sea lion, and seal shows plus an underwater performance. Its scale is manageable, but that balance is part of the appeal: it is easy to visit with children, easy to pair with nearby sightseeing, and easy to reach from Omorikaigan Station or by free shuttle bus from Oimachi Station.
